Overview In this role you will manage Radiology Research Support Services Core operations and serve as the administrative lead for Nemours' Enterprise Radiology Research Program. You will develop workflows, prepare reports and communications, and coordinate with cross-site teams to advance radiology research initiatives. You'll oversee regulatory compliance, budgeting support, and collaboration between research administration, investigators, and radiology staff. This position offers a steady cadence of multi-site coordination, process improvement, and strategic support for growing pediatric imaging research.
Responsibilities- Oversee Radiology Research Support Services Core operations across Nemours sites and generate periodic reports
- Liaise with Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA) to prepare grant budgets and ensure prompt, accurate accounting for funded projects
- Review radiology studies and imaging procedures to optimize resource use for study procedures; coordinate between research administration, investigators, and radiology staff
- Provide regulatory oversight for research activities and support personnel in facilitating research
- Develop administrative systems to streamline core function development and growth of Nemours research
- Oversee the Research Image Management Core and ensure effective communication with the Research Support Core
- Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and policies for Core use; maintain them annually
- Maintain the center or lab website and social media, keeping technology current and evaluating programs and platforms
- Serve as liaison on designated committees and teams
- Assist with pricing for grant budgets and coordination of core communications and activities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required
- Coordinate and communicate activities for all Nemours sites related to Radiology Research Support Services Core
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
- RRT or other medical imaging license preferred (CNMT, US, MRI, or CT)
- Advanced knowledge of radiology research environment, policies, and imaging modalities
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a changing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn additional software
