Overview In this role you will serve as a Seller-Doer to support Jensen Hughes' fire protection consulting growth in Phoenix. You will perform and lead technical work, including building and fire code reviews, plan analyses, and development of design solutions, while coordinating with design teams. The position emphasizes client engagement, project management, and delivering compliant, performance-based fire protection strategies. Responsibilities- Manage and implement a wide variety of consulting projects
- Satisfy client needs and expectations by completing tasks on schedule and within budget
- Coordinate and conduct building and fire code reviews and analyses, including plan reviews and site visits
- Prepare and peer review project-related technical reports
- Develop fire protection strategies, performance-based design approaches, and alternative solutions
- Effectively communicate with project team members, clients, and others
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering (preferably Fire Protection), Architecture, or related field
- Four (4) years of professional Fire Protection Consulting experience
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred (Fire Protection) or NICET Level IV potential
- Doer-Seller with client connections and ability to develop new business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with building code concepts, plan reviews, and field reviews/inspections
