Overview In this role, you will oversee instrumentation and electrical construction activities within oil and gas facilities, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget alignment. You will support planning, coordination with engineers and contractors, and drive project execution from planning through turnover. You'll apply your knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems to resolve field issues and maintain quality. Responsibilities- Coordinate electrical and instrumentation construction activities from planning through completion
- Support planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and resource coordination
- Review progress to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance
- Perform field inspections and QA reviews against drawings and standards
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and contractor teams to resolve issues
- Review and approve completed work packages, punch lists, and project docs
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, environmental requirements, and regulatory standards
- Communicate project status, risks, and progress to stakeholders
- Support commissioning, startup, and turnover activities as needed
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices in I&E construction
Key requirements- Experience supporting electrical and instrumentation projects in oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, or industrial settings
- Strong understanding of construction management, project controls, and contractor oversight
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, electrical one-lines, and construction specs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
