Responsibilities- Contract administration: ensure reporting obligations and deliverables are met
- Setup and manage document control system (drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, correspondence)
- Coordinate with ATS to establish project UFS folders and access rights
- Review submittals for coordination with plans/specs
- Draft and maintain project correspondence
- Attend progress, planning, and safety meetings
- Assist mobilization and closeout activities
- Review subcontractor pay applications and code invoices
- Prepare and submit customer pay requests
- Maintain change order log and draft pricing for changes
- Maintain inspections and quality records in UFS
- Develop and monitor project cost reporting and budgets
- Produce and review productivity reports with project team
- Assist in development of Work Plans
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and support schedule requirements
- Create and update detailed Look Ahead schedules
- Submit schedule updates per contract documents
- Build and maintain trust with customers, owners, engineers
- Foster effective relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
- Perform safety observations and assist in safety plan development
- Assist in environmental compliance
- Read and interpret project drawings and specifications
- Forecast costs for self-performed work and resource alignment
- Ensure compliance with laws, ordinances, and building codes
- Manage Lump Sum, Unit Price, Time & Material projects
Key requirements- Four year degree in a technical discipline
- 5-7 years of project experience
- Proficiency in engineering/construction principles
- Ability to forecast costs and manage labor/equipment resources
- Strong math, communication, and technical writing skills
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with project cost reporting and scheduling
