Overview In this role you will lead civil litigation matters with a strong focus on courtroom work and trial-ready strategy. You will own cases from assessment to disposition, collaborating with a supportive team to advance settlements or trials. You'll interact directly with clients, formulate strategies, and drive proceedings across state and federal courts, mediation, or arbitration. Responsibilities- Oversee a diverse civil litigation portfolio from initial assessment to settlement, dispositive motions, and trial
- Develop case strategies, assess risk, and advise clients on practical resolution options
- Advocate in state and federal courts and in mediation, arbitration, and other contested proceedings
- Prepare legal documents including complaints, answers, motions, briefs, and memoranda
- Manage all phases of discovery, including requests, productions review, and depositions
- Support trial execution by organizing evidence, preparing witnesses, and presenting in court
- Maintain strong client relationships through timely communication and sound judgment
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to progress cases and grow autonomy as responsibilities expand
