Overview In this role you will lead the global asset accounting strategy, governance, and operations for inventory, fixed assets, real estate, and freight/logistics. You will partner with cross-functional leaders to standardize processes, strengthen controls, and drive continuous improvement at scale. You will oversee accurate accounting, compliance, and financial reporting while guiding a global team across regions and time zones. This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role that shapes asset accounting governance and performance across the enterprise.
Responsibilities- Lead global asset accounting strategy and governance across inventory, fixed assets, real estate, and freight/logistics accounting.
- Oversee global inventory accounting, working capital Reporting, and balance sheet controls with cross-functional partners.
- Direct fixed asset and real estate accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and project accounting, with global governance.
- Provide strategic oversight of freight and logistics accounting, including freight accruals and transportation accounting.
- Ensure strong financial controls, SOX compliance, and audit readiness across asset accounting domains.
- Drive transformation through automation, standardization, and analytics; establish KPIs and enable data-driven decisions.
Key requirements- Bachelor in Business, Finance, or Accounting
- 12+ years of finance leadership experience in aligned process areas with global scope
- Experience leading teams in a customer-centric project environment and transactional activities in a tiered operating model
- Experience with Oracle, OneStream, Data Services, POS, or equivalent systems
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
