Overview

In this role you will manage end-to-end commercial real estate transactions for a well-established Texas law firm. You will work closely with sophisticated clients, cross-functional teams, and a range of property types from retail to farm and ranch. You'll lead drafting, negotiation, and due diligence from LOI to closing, and provide practical guidance on financing and title issues. This position offers meaningful work shaping large-scale deals in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Handle full lifecycle of commercial real estate transactions from LOI through closing
  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, and other transactional documents
  • Represent buyers and sellers in acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions
  • Advise clients during due diligence, title review, financing, and closing
  • Manage landlord and tenant matters across retail, office, warehouse, industrial, and ground leases
  • Assist with real estate development and construction matters
  • Advise on commercial lending and private financing transactions
  • Work on farm and ranch real estate transactions including transactions and easements
  • Advise on restrictive covenants, HOA matters, and like-kind exchanges
  • Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, energy, tax, and litigation on complex matters
Key requirements
  • 4+ years of transactional real estate experience
  • Strong experience with commercial real estate transactions
  • Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents
  • Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines with attention to detail
  • Texas Bar admission in good standing
  • Strong business judgment and practical, solutions-oriented advice
