Compensation / Benefits- Salary range: $185,000-$235,000+ contingent on experience

Responsibilities- Draft and prosecute US patent applications in electronics and software
- Analyze technologies to translate into patent claims and specs
- Advise on patentability, prosecution strategy, and portfolio development
- Respond to USPTO office actions and conduct examiner interviews
- Collaborate with attorneys, agents, and clients on domestic and international matters
- Stay current on developments impacting AI and software inventions
Key requirements- Active USPTO registration and admission in at least one US jurisdiction
- 3+ years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm
- Undergraduate degree in CS, CE, EE, or closely related field
- Substantive experience prosecuting AI, ML, software, or advanced electronics patents
- Strong academic credentials with transcripts and writing samples
