Overview In this role you will lead Java/J2EE application development on AWS, delivering robust banking product solutions. You will work within an Agile environment to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software, guiding the team and aligning with client requirements. You will implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform and collaborate with cross-functional teams to set clear expectations and meet project deadlines. You will leverage expertise in monitoring and logging to ensure performance and reliability, shaping technical direction and delivery.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, maintain, and debug Java/J2EE applications in AWS
- Lead and guide the team with client-facing requirements and architectural input
- Implement AWS solutions and infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Perform unit testing with JUnit and behavior testing with Cucumber
- Utilize APM and logging tools (e.g., Splunk) for monitoring and troubleshooting
- Manage requirements documentation, scope, and delivery timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to set expectations and deliver on schedule
- Understand banking product architecture and ensure alignment with domain requirements
Key requirements- 10+ years' experience in application development
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE with AWS cloud experience
- Hands-on AWS solution implementation
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code
- Strong testing skills (JUnit, Cucumber)
- Experience with APM tools and Splunk for monitoring/logging
- Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence
