Overview In this role you will lead field-quality inspections to ensure conformance with project documents and regulatory requirements. You'll work closely with clients, contractors, and design teams to document findings, support timely resolutions, and maintain robust inspection logs. Your efforts will help deliver safe, high-quality facilities on complex construction projects. Responsibilities- Schedule and perform daily project inspections and document results
- Verify conformance of materials, equipment, and workmanship with approved shop drawings/submittals
- Review contractor quality and safety plans for adequacy and compliance
- Monitor labor, safety conditions, and site progress; maintain logs and photos
- Identify, document, and report defects and discrepancies; support issue resolution
- Coordinate site inspections with client Environmental or Testing Service Contractors
- Assist Project Manager with field issue resolution and documentation
- Evaluate planned vs. actual schedule status and communicate risks to the team
- Maintain awareness of clarifications and changes affecting ongoing work
Key requirements- At least 10 years of experience in Building Construction Quality Assurance/Control
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and material/construction testing
- Ability to work effectively with client, contractor, and design teams
- Proficiency with computers and PMCS systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Physical ability to access all areas of buildings, including ladders
