Overview As an Integration Solution Architect within Salesforce's MuleSoft Services, you will lead enterprise-grade hybrid integration initiatives and guide API-led connectivity across complex projects. You'll mentor internal teams, define best practices, and influence product direction while ensuring successful delivery for strategic customers. This role blends hands-on architecture with client-facing leadership, driving adoption of MuleSoft across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. You'll work closely with Field teams and Product Management to shape the platform's future in a fast-moving, innovation-driven context.

Responsibilities- Lead and govern design of complex MuleSoft integration projects following API-led connectivity and integration patterns
- Identify opportunities to improve customers' IT operating models and support SDLC pipeline adoption for greater MuleSoft value
- Define and scale enterprise integration best practices, reference architectures, assets, and API patterns
- Establish and enforce DevOps models, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, alerting, and full API lifecycle management
- Scale best practices globally via reusable assets and reference architectures; enable field teams and partners to boost delivery and customer success
- Lead requirements workshops and deliver architectural blueprint documents to influence project direction
- Guide product direction by identifying gaps and providing insights to leadership
- Act as trusted technical advisor to client executives and internal teams; mentor junior architects and engineers
- Drive decision-making on complex technical challenges, balancing scope, time-to-market, and technical debt across integrations
- Engage with MuleSoft Product Management and Engineering to relay field feedback and influence roadmap
Key requirements- 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years leading complex integration and solution architecture initiatives
- 2+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience or similar, with API-led connectivity design and implementation
- Expertise in High Availability, scalability, SDLC, and full API lifecycle management
- Experience architecting solutions meeting complex business requirements and communicating with C-level executives
- Experience defining full API lifecycle management from design to governance
- Strong customer-facing communication and expectation management skills
- Experience managing multiple end-to-end SDLC integration projects simultaneously
- Experience architecting services integrations with MuleSoft and other solutions (IBM, BEA, Oracle Fusion, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, Progress Sonic, API Management, etc.)
