Responsibilities- Provide daily field safety leadership across construction activities and multiple subcontractors
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and contractor leadership to integrate safety into work planning
- Identify hazards and ensure effective controls are in place before activities begin
- Review job hazard analyses, pre-task plans, and contractor safety procedures for compliance
- Conduct site inspections and safety audits, communicate findings, and ensure corrective actions
- Monitor subcontractor safety performance and address unsafe conditions promptly
- Support incident investigations and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence
- Lead safety meetings and clearly communicate expectations to field personnel and leadership
- Evaluate safety performance trends and recommend practical improvements
- Maintain safety documentation and promote consistent accountability across the project
Key requirements- Extensive construction safety experience with senior-level responsibility for jobsite safety
- Experience coordinating safety across multiple trades for a general contractor or direct support thereof
- Semiconductor or data center construction experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and hazard prevention practices
- Proven ability to lead safety efforts in a demanding construction environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence field teams and engage senior leadership
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing needs, and exercise sound judgment
