Overview As an AI/ML Scientist for Prime, you will develop models to understand customer behavior and optimize the customer experience at scale. You partner with product owners to intake, build, and apply modeling solutions that influence content personalization, subscription optimization, and long-term value of Prime members. You will work on GenAI/LLM personalization, foundation models, and reinforcement learning for customer journeys, leveraging cutting-edge ML tech and scalable infrastructure. This role blends research, experimentation, and real-world impact across millions of customers.

Responsibilities- Stay current with field literature and develop novel science solutions using SoTA methods
- Build and deploy AI/ML models and supporting infra at TB scale with software eng
- Leverage Deep Learning and GenAI for foundation models and personalized optimization
- Develop offline policy estimation tools and integrate with econometric measurement models
- Establish scalable automation for large-scale data analyses, validation, and model implementation
- Analyze historical Amazon data to automate and optimize key business processes
- Collaborate with business teams to understand problems and identify opportunities
- Design, develop, and evaluate innovative models to predict customer behavior and solve business problems
Key requirements- 3+ years building ML models for business applications
- PhD or Master's with 6+ years of applied research
- Programming experience in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and ML
