Accounting Manager

As Accounting Manager, you will oversee financial reporting, cost analysis, and reconciliations for assigned areas, ensuring adherence to policies and SOX. You will partner with operations and finance to analyze spending variances and deliver financial impact insights. Manage fixed assets inSAP and support audits with detailed schedules. Develop budgets and monthly forecasts in BPC, maintaining updates as needed. You'll collaborate with senior leadership to drive compliance and continuous improvement in financial processes.

• Post monthly journal entries and analyze cost variances
• Prepare financial analyses and management summaries with policy compliance
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and adjust variances
• Collaborate with operations to develop budgets and forecasts; update financial systems
• Maintain fixed assets within SAP modules and ensure accurate reporting
• Provide schedules to external auditors for interim and year-end audits
• Document policies and controls for Sarbanes-Oxley implementation
• Ensure quality systems compliance and escalate issues as needed

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 7-10 years of professional experience
• Proficiency in SAP or Tier I ERP systems, Excel, and Word
• Strong analytical abilities and financial orientation
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in manufacturing preferred
• CPA or CMA certification a plus
• Ability to handle confidential information and meet reporting deadlines
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and quality systems
