We are seeking a Dealer Level Diesel Technician Mechanic to service heavy trucks through independent assignments in a shop-based environment with no travel required. This role performs advanced engine, transmission, electrical, and preventive maintenance work using OEM diagnostic software, multiple OEM platforms, multimeters, and other test equipment. Advancement opportunities include progression to Senior Technician, Shop Foreman, and additional OEM certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform engine diagnostics, fault code analysis, and engine repairs.
- Service heavy trucks through preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using multimeters and other test equipment.
- Replace and repair components across diesel systems.
- Use OEM diagnostic software and multiple OEM platforms.
- Document repairs and service activities accurately.
- Complete service inspections and maintain safety compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in diesel equipment repair.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cummins Dealer Level Engine Repair Certification.
- Experience repairing Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and PACCAR MX engines.
- Experience repairing Eaton transmissions.
- Expertise in diesel engine diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and technical documentation.
- Strong diagnostic problem-solving skills.
