Schedule: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM 12-Hour Night Shifts Up to 20 Shifts/Month
Are you a skilled Physician Assistant with a strong background in neurosurgery and trauma? We are seeking a confident, experienced PA to support a high-acuity hospital setting, providing expert care to adult and trauma patients during overnight shifts.

What You'll Be Doing:
- First-assist in neurosurgical procedures, including trauma and cerebrovascular cases
- Provide in-house call coverage for emergent surgical cases
- Respond promptly to critical situations with a hands-on approach
- Manage and evaluate hospital patients, including admissions and ICU cases
- Support neurosurgeons during surgeries (avg. 3/day) and patient rounds ( patients/day)
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Expertise in general neurosurgery (adult & trauma cases)
- Experience with spinal surgery (instrumented and non-instrumented)
- Familiarity with cerebrovascular procedures (open and endovascular techniques)
- Proficient in placing ICP monitors and working in a high-volume trauma environment
- Capable of supervising or assisting during locum physician coverage when needed
Key Qualifications:
- Board Certified Required
- Active Colorado license or Compact License Required
- Prior neurosurgery experience with overnight shift work preferred
- EPIC EMR proficiency is a plus
- PA First Assist experience strongly preferred
