HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER Virginia Beach, VA Full-Time $95,000 $105,000 4 Days On-Site / 1 Day Remote Approximately 10% Travel No Relocation Assistance The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join the HR team of a growing international organization in Virginia Beach. This is a true strategic and hands-on HRBP role, partnering directly with senior leaders while remaining actively involved in employee relations, performance management, talent planning, engagement, HR operations, and organizational initiatives. This opportunity is well suited for an HR professional who enjoys being close to the business, building credibility with leaders and employees, and turning business challenges into practical people solutions. What You'll Do • Serve as a trusted HR advisor to senior leaders and business units. • Coach leaders through employee relations, performance, organizational, and workforce issues. • Support workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness. • Lead and support employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives. • Partner with leaders on hiring strategies, role design, onboarding, and talent needs. • Guide complex employee relations matters while supporting fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes. • Use HR data and workforce metrics to identify trends and support business decisions. • Support HR systems, reporting, and process-improvement initiatives. • Partner across HR on compensation, benefits, leave, and employee development programs. • Lead HR projects and change initiatives that may extend across the broader organization. What We're Looking For • Bachelor's degree. • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience. • Direct HR Business Partner experience or a strong Senior HR Generalist background with significant business-partnering responsibilities. • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and executives. • Strong employee relations and performance management experience. • Ability to balance strategic HR work with hands-on day-to-day execution. • Experience leading HR initiatives and driving organizational or cultural change. • Strong project management and deadline-management skills. • Comfort working with HR data, reporting, and workforce analytics. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes. • Confident communication skills and the ability to influence and advise at all organizational levels. • Comfort navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and a fast-moving business environment. • Stable work history required no more than 2 jobs in the last 5 years. Work Environment This is primarily an on-site position in Virginia Beach, with one remote day per week. Candidates must already be local to the area because relocation assistance is not available.
