Rheumatology OpportunityLocation: Findlay, OhioFacility: Blanchard Valley Health System, Wellness Park outpatient centerSetting: 100% OutpatientPosition Details
  • Start Date: Urgent need (immediate availability preferred)
  • Schedule Options:
    • Part-time
    • Full-time
    • Week on/week off (flexible schedule)
  • Patient Mix: Physician chooses patient age group and mix
  • Scope: Full practice autonomy with ability to influence practice design and operations
  • Support:
    • Full care team support model
    • Access to multidisciplinary specialists
    • 24/7 in-house hospitalist support (for inpatient needs)
    • Mayo Clinic eConsults, eBoards, AskMayoExpert access
  • Teaching: Optional opportunities for medical students and APP trainees
  • EMR: Cerner (integrated inpatient/outpatient)
  • Visa Candidates: Not accepted
  • Locums Providers: Not accepted
Requirements
  • Degree: MD or DO
  • Board Certification: Required (in Rheumatology)
  • Licensure: Active Ohio medical license required
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: Competitive base salary
  • Signing Bonus: $50,000
  • Loan Repayment: Options available during or after training, flexible payment schedule
  • Relocation: Up to $10,000 assistance
  • CME/Board Support: $5,000 annually
  • Paid Time Off: 248 hours (vacation, holidays, CME)
  • Sick Time: Up to 600 hours accrual (4 hours per pay period full-time)
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, malpractice insurance
  • Retirement: 403(b) with 4% employer match starting year two
  • Loan Forgiveness: Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) as a 501(c)(3) organization
