Overview In this role you will lead analog and power-conversion circuit card design for complex defense systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architecture, and verification plans across the product lifecycle. You will perform design, analysis, testing, and documentation, guiding ECAD and lab activities to ensure robust, verifiable power solutions. You will contribute to mentorship and knowledge transfer, shaping high reliability electronics for missiles, radars, and EW systems. This position offers the chance to work onsite in McKinney, TX, on cutting-edge power electronics in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities- Assist with requirements decomposition and trade studies
- Define circuit card level architecture
- Lead design, analysis, test, and documentation of analog and power conversion cards
- Collaborate with ECAD drafters on stackup, layout, and routing
- Plan and execute integration and verification activities in labs
- Provide product test and troubleshooting support and root cause investigations
- Define schedules for circuit card tasks and drive execution within budget and schedule
- Lead designs and/or small teams and mentor junior engineers
- Support internal and external technical reviews
- Engage in knowledge transfer activities and mentorship
Key requirements- Bachelor in STEM with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Design/analysis/test/simulation experience with non-isolated converter topologies (buck, boost, buck-boost)
- Analog electronics design experience (FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters, terminations, comparators)
- Experience using MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica or similar tools
- Experience with schematic capture / circuit board layout CAD
- Strong communication and ability to lead and collaborate
