Overview In this role you will lead MMIC development in the Raytheon Microelectronics Department, delivering DC-100 GHz ICs for high-performance system applications. You will own the full MMIC lifecycle-from technology selection and topology to layout, test, and customer interfacing-with a focus on GaN/GaAs CMOS implementations. You'll collaborate with peers to improve design processes and first-pass success rates. This position offers hands-on lab work and opportunities to influence cutting-edge RF/microwave IC technology within a mission-driven team.

Responsibilities- Own MMIC development process end-to-end, including topology selection, layout, testing, and verification to specifications
- Collaborate with MMIC engineers to share lessons learned and improve processes
- Participate in design reviews and document decisions to ensure high-quality, simulatable outputs
Key requirements- Degree in STEM (typical)
- Minimum 5 years in MMIC design and/or test
- Experience with Keysight ADS and EM tools (HFSS, Momentum)
- Experience designing GaN, GaAs, and/or CMOS MMICs
- Experience in microwave and mm-wave laboratory testing
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
