Medical Science Liaison--Cardiovascular Arterial (Remote)

Overview

In this field-based MSL role, you will support the Cardiovascular Arterial franchise by building scientific relationships with physicians and providing medical data on AngioDynamics products. You will stay current with literature, present evidence to healthcare professionals, and help guide investigator-initiated trials and education efforts. You will collaborate cross-functionally to align medical insights with regulatory, R&D and commercial teams. Responsibilities
  • Manage US field activities for Cardiovascular Arterial products
  • Build and maintain long-term physician relationships
  • Provide clinical information in response to medical inquiries on products
  • Ensure compliance with medical information guidelines and regulations
  • Review medical literature and monitor data on company and competitors' devices
  • Facilitate investigator-sponsored trials and relay insights to clinical teams
  • Collaborate with sales operations and training for field education
  • Obtain approvals for scientific and clinical education resources
  • Educate internal and external stakeholders on diseases, options, and product needs
  • Coordinate content development for consistent education materials
  • Attend medical meetings to stay informed and communicate data
  • Work cross-functionally with Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Health care economics, R&D, and Business Development
  • Demonstrate leadership and ensure compliance alignment
  • Support development of corporate research priorities and integrate business needs
  • Participate in department and cross-functional meetings
Key requirements
  • Clinical background in Atherectomy preferred; RN, Pharmacist, PharmD, MD, or equivalent clinical experience
  • Bachelor in Science; Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience preferred; 1-2+ years required in clinical practice, academic research, or industry
  • Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs or medical communications experience in medical devices preferred
  • Experience presenting to and interacting with clinical experts preferred
  • Ability to build relationships and work in cross-functional teams
  • Credibility in the medical community; strong initiative and cross-functional leadership
  • Knowledge of FDA adverse event reporting and device complaint handling
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
