Responsibilities- Lead mortgage processing and underwriting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Guide teams in resolving complex loan application, underwriting, and operational issues
- Review and approve complex loan scenarios within delegated authority and escalate high-risk cases
- Ensure consistent interpretation of investor, agency, regulatory, and internal lending guidelines
- Oversee loan data integrity, documentation quality, and operational processes
- Manage daily workflow distribution and pipeline performance to meet SLAs
- Analyze operational metrics to identify risks and drive process improvements
- Collaborate with loan production, closing, secondary marketing, quality control, and other stakeholders
- Promote adherence to policies, procedures, regulations, and internal controls; support audit readiness
- Lead, coach, and develop mortgage operations staff with focus on performance and growth
Key requirements- 6+ years in mortgage operations, operational leadership, process oversight, and team management
- 4+ years of supervisory or management experience leading a team, process, or project
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
