Overview In this role you optimize complex manufacturing and operational systems, applying advanced analysis and continuous improvement to boost productivity, quality, cost, and safety. You will drive cross-functional initiatives across multiple sites, setting standards that other engineers follow. The position supports DFMA, NPI, and capacity planning to scale operations. Responsibilities- Design and optimize end-to-end manufacturing and operational processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability
- Lead time studies, line balancing, capacity modeling, throughput optimization, and simulation-based flow analysis
- Develop standard work, labor models, and ergonomic solutions for complex environments
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints to remove waste across operations
- Create cost models, make-vs-buy analyses, and ROI justifications for investments
- Influence product design through DFMA, tolerance analysis, error-proofing, and assembly feasibility studies
- Lead NPI industrialization, including layouts, material flow, and ramp-up strategies
- Drive continuous improvement via Kaizen, KPI development, and cross-functional leadership
- Champion safety and ergonomic compliance (OSHA and ISO standards) in process and layout designs
- Perform other related duties as required
Key requirements- 3-5+ years of Industrial or Operations Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Remote work with travel up to 25% to Excellerate facilities
- Flexibility to work 7am-5pm, Monday-Friday
