Facility:This facility is a community hospital serving a broad patient population including adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients across a 50-bed setting. The facility provides strong support staff including RNs and has general surgery backup available 24/7, making it a well-supported environment for OB/GYN locum coverage.
Opportunity:Physician - OB/GYN
Job Details:- Urgent OB/GYN locum coverage needed starting October 2026, with ongoing dates available beginning December 2026
- 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a), with 10-15 total locum shifts per month across all providers
- Hospital call coverage only; patient volume dependent on active deliveries, averaging approximately 15 deliveries per month
- General OB/GYN procedures required
- EMR system: Epic - prior Epic experience required; providers must complete EMR modules and virtual training prior to first day
- Support staff includes RNs on site
- Board Certified OBGYN or truly board eligible (within 0-5 years of residency completion) required
- Active Colorado license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at time of submission) required
- Active DEA required for credentialing; site will consider a transferred DEA, but provider must maintain it for the duration of the assignment
- Active BLS required to obtain during credentialing
- Clean malpractice and background history required
- Self-inquiry NPDB report must be provided prior to credentialing
- Credentialing timeframe: 60 days standard, 30 days or less for temps
- Emergency privileges available with a clean file
- Providers must be available for the initial stint detailed to be considered for ongoing dates
- Candidates must detail the number of shifts per month they can commit to on an ongoing basis
- Preferred lodging: Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott or Hampton Inn, Fort Morgan - corporate rate required; no other lodging will be approved
- Air travel acceptable; preference given to local candidates
Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
