Job description

Seeking an experienced Cardiology APP for an ongoing outpatient locum opportunity in Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established cardiology practice with a consistent schedule and no call responsibilities.

Position Details

Specialty: Cardiology
Provider Type: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Practice Setting: Outpatient
Schedule: Wednesday through Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Start Date: December 2026
Assignment Length: 6-month contract with potential extension
No Call Required
Patients Per Day: Approximately 12

Responsibilities

Outpatient cardiology clinic coverage
Supervise echo and nuclear exercise stress testing
Perform and oversee cardiac device checks
Interpret EKGs
Sign off on cardiac device evaluations
Collaborate with clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care

Requirements

Active Oregon license
Board Certified NP or PA in relevant specialty
Current DEA
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification

Support & Practice Environment

Dedicated RN support
Medical Assistant support
Office support staff available
Epic EMR
Hospital outpatient privileges required
No admissions responsibilities
No APP supervision required
