Work Environment

Located in beautiful Red Bank, our onsite rehabilitation center is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and modern treatment technologies. You will work in an environment that emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and respect for each patient's unique needs. We provide a structured work schedule, allowing our staff to maintain a healthy work-life balance while being fully engaged with their responsibilities and patients. The typical work hours for this position are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with New Jersey's physical therapy practice acts while delivering care and supervising ancillary staff.
  • Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and orthopedic conditions, ensuring accurate assessment and documentation of their history and symptoms.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations and evolving healthcare practices to meet individual patient needs.
  • Implement treatment protocols that reflect both evaluation results and patient presentations, modifying these protocols as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and licensed staff to ensure comprehensive care and facilitate positive patient outcomes.
  • Document all patient care activities meticulously, including daily encounter notes, interim progress summaries, and discharge evaluations, to reflect each patient's improvement and treatment trajectory.
  • Engage in discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring patients have a clear understanding of their next steps post-therapy.
  • Participate in facility meetings, contributing insights and engaging in discussions to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to develop strong, supportive relationships with patients, guiding them through their recovery processes and celebrating their successes, both big and small.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, demonstrating proficiency in treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Current CPR certification; additional certifications in relevant therapeutic modalities are a plus.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with documentation standards unique to rehabilitation centers.
  • Exposure to team-based care models and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, alongside a robust benefits package.
