Work Environment

The position is based at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Umatilla, Florida. This full-time role operates onsite, allowing you to engage with patients directly in a dynamic clinical setting. The work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced life-work structure. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' physical therapy needs and establish rehabilitation goals.
  • Maintain a structured patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized treatment sessions that focus on the specific needs of each patient.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to administer cost-effective treatments aimed at enhancing range of motion and mobility, focusing on minimizing reliance on medication.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic modalities tailored to individual recovery goals.
  • Craft specialized fitness and wellness programs that promote long-term health, addressing each client's unique challenges and aspirations.
  • Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, using encouragement to drive progress toward optimal functionality.
  • Analyze patient outcomes, track improvements, and maintain meticulous documentation for all services rendered.
  • Engage in collaborative care by consulting with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes individuals recovering from a range of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical patients, those with chronic pain, and athletes rehabilitating from sports-related injuries. These patients seek therapeutic support to restore function and mobility, and your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding them back to their preferred levels of activity.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy.
  • Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in employing evidence-based practices to achieve positive patient outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits
