Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan - NP/PA Hospitalist Job

- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Full-time position
- Join a Hospital Medicine/Critical Care team in an inpatient setting
- Primary focus on patient admissions and management of complex medical cases
- Collaboration with remote ICU intensivists
- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (nocturnist role)
- Work alongside hospitalist physicians in a team-based environment
- Candidates must be comfortable with high patient volumes
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills required
- Robust onboarding, training, and formal mentorship program provided
Responsibilities:
- Manage admissions and inpatient care
- Perform typical ICU procedures
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and intensivists
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
- AHA-approved BLS certification required
- Active Michigan license or ability to obtain
- Inpatient experience strongly preferred - no new grads
