Critical Care/Trauma Physician Assistant

Aequor Healthcare is actively seeking an experienced Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for an exciting inpatient locums opportunity . If you're looking for a high-acuity ICU assignment with a quick credentialing process, we'd love to speak with you!

• Specialty: Critical Care APP
• Setting: Inpatient ICU
• Responsibilities: Inpatient rounding and critical care management
• EMR: EPIC
• Dictation: Dragon
• Credentialing: Approximately 30 days

Candidates must be experienced and credentialed to perform:

• Moderate Sedation
• Lumbar Puncture
• Endotracheal Intubation & Extubation
• Ventilator Management, including respiratory weaning, oxygen therapy, and extubation
• Assessment for Intubation
• Paracentesis & Thoracentesis
• Chest Tube Insertion
• PICC Line, Arterial Line, and Central Venous Line Placement
• Arterial Line Insertion & Removal (Radial/Femoral)
• Tracheostomy Care & Tube Changes
• Management of Tension Pneumothorax
• External Pacing (Epicardial, Transvenous, & Transcutaneous)

Note: Providers must have documentation of at least 5 proctored cases for each procedure listed above.
