Opportunity:Advanced Practitioners - Surgery
Job Details:- Join a General Surgery team covering a wide variety of subspecialties including Thoracic, Vascular, ENT, Colorectal, Urology, Breast, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, and Plastic Surgery
- Role open to Physician Assistants
- Inpatient setting with responsibilities including first assisting in the OR, admissions, discharges, rounding, bedside procedures, and surgery consults
- Work in collaboration with several surgeons across multiple surgical subspecialties
- Full-time position with a rotating schedule (3x13 shifts)
- No call required
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs including referrals to specialists and other care team members
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of practice as designated by protocols
- Must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience, preferably in a surgical or related setting, required
