Overview In this role you will lead Cytiva's Americas commercial efforts to hit revenue and profitability objectives, shaping a regional strategy that aligns with the Genomic Medicine, Commercial mission. You'll build and guide a high-performing team, accelerate growth through market insights, and ensure excellent customer experience via cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities- Lead the Americas commercial business to meet or exceed revenue, growth, and profitability targets with a unified regional strategy
- Build and mentor a high-performing commercial organization, guiding hiring, coaching, and talent development
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans using market insights and customer knowledge to expand market share
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Marketing, and other functions to ensure flawless execution and strong customer experience
- Drive commercial excellence through DBS, sales funnel management, forecasting discipline, CRM discipline, and cross-OpCo collaboration to improve customer engagement and outcomes
Key requirements- years of sales management experience with complex consultative selling to lab/biotech/biopharma clients
- Demonstrated leadership of technical, customer-facing commercial teams
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, science or related discipline; MBA preferred
- Knowledge of genomic medicine approaches, biopharma manufacturing processes, and GMP
- Experience launching and scaling new solutions in emerging markets with large biopharma organizations
- Proven ability to hire, develop, manage, and retain senior sales talent
- Strong financial acumen in budgeting, sales funnel management, financial planning, and reporting; track record of exceeding targets and maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Comfort executing comprehensive sales strategies, identifying market needs, and adapting value propositions for growth in target markets
- Experience in a highly matrixed, global company with up to 50% travel including international travel for training, conferences, etc.
