Location: Primary work in Newport Beach, with additional sites in Long Beach, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Dock Construction Foreman to join our team. This is a hands-on field position for someone with strong carpentry and construction experience who enjoys working alongside a crew and contributing to the successful completion of projects.

You will work closely with our existing field team to help keep projects safe, organized, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily dock construction and repair activities alongside the existing team
• Work closely with crew members to help keep projects safe, organized, and on schedule
• Perform hands-on carpentry and general construction work
• Read and follow project plans, drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Help coordinate materials, tools, and equipment needed for the job
• Assist with quality checks and ensure work is completed to project standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Communicate jobsite needs, challenges, and progress with the field and project management teams
• Work professionally with coworkers, customers, subcontractors, and vendors

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction, with previous experience as a Foreman
• Strong hands-on carpentry and construction skills
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
• Ability to read basic construction plans and drawings
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• Able to lift, carry, and handle construction materials and equipment
• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
• Own basic hand tools and work boots
• Marine construction, dock building/repair, waterfront construction, or commercial diving experience is a plus.

Compensation:

Pay is competitive and based on experience and demonstrated skill level. Performance is evaluated on-site by the Superintendent.
