Job Site Supervisor
NYC Public Works General Contractor Five Boroughs
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Job Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on various public works construction projects throughout the five boroughs of New York City. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate multiple trades and site activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, including night work as required
- Complete accurate daily work reports and project documentation
- Perform QA/QC inspections and monitor the delivery and quality of incoming materials
- Track and verify manpower and headcounts for various trades
- Coordinate daily work activities and project requirements with Project Managers
- Monitor site progress, safety, and compliance with project requirements
- Communicate effectively with field personnel, subcontractors, and project management
Qualifications & Certifications
- Prior construction site supervision experience required
- OSHA 30 certification
- S-56 Construction Site Fire Safety Manager certification
- 62-Hour SST certification
- Additional NYC-required certifications as applicable
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
Work Location: Projects throughout the five boroughs of NYC. Primary work locations will generally remain consistent but may vary based on project assignments.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience, qualifications, and certifications.
We are looking for a hands-on, reliable, and knowledgeable construction professional who can take ownership of site operations and work closely with our project management team to successfully deliver our projects.
