Superintendent

Environmental Protection Services (EPS)

Location: Carson City/Sparks, NV

Travel throughout Northern Nevada is required.

Salary: $72,800-$83,200 per year, commensurate with experience

Environmental Protection Services (EPS) is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations across multiple projects throughout Northern Nevada.

This leadership role is responsible for managing crews and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to the high standards our customers expect.

EPS provides Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan services.

EPS installs and maintains Best Management Practices.

EPS provides street-sweeping services.

Primary Responsibilities

Oversee daily field operations for multiple active projects.

Supervise and mentor foremen, crew leaders, and field employees.

Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity.

Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.

Conduct routine jobsite visits to monitor production, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and Operations to ensure project success.

Review schedules and proactively adjust resources as project demands change.

Monitor labor productivity and job costs.

Ensure accurate daily reporting through MobiWork.

Identify opportunities to improve field operations, efficiency, and profitability.

Maintain strong relationships with customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors.

Lead by example and promote a positive and accountable team culture.

Qualifications

At least five years of construction leadership experience is required.

Experience in civil construction, erosion control, excavation, or a related industry is preferred.

Proven experience managing multiple crews and projects simultaneously is required.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.

Candidates must be able to read construction plans and specifications.

Working knowledge of SWPPP and erosion-control practices is preferred.

Experience using construction management software is required.

MobiWork experience is a plus.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile technology is required.

A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
