Construction Manager - Owner's Representative

THE ROLE

You hold the general contractor to the contract, you protect the budget and the schedule, and you tell the owner what is actually happening on site.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Owner side oversight from design through turnover
• Contractor selection, bid leveling and contract negotiation support
• Budget, change order review and monthly draw certification
• Schedule oversight, and the hard conversation when it slips
• Design team coordination and consultant management
• Reporting an owner can make a decision from

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ten or more years in construction
• General contractor experience is a direct route into this seat
• Comfortable certifying a draw and defending the reasoning
• You can say no to a contractor without ending the relationship

COMPENSATION

Base of $130,000 to $175,000.
