The Executive Chef will lead a culinary team in a fine dining restaurant, overseeing all kitchen operations with full budget responsibility. This role requires mastery in menu planning, quality control, and staff management to ensure exceptional dining experiences. The Executive Chef utilizes standard kitchen management software to streamline processes and maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage kitchen operations, including staff scheduling and workflow optimization
- Oversee food preparation to ensure consistency and quality
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering professional development
- Control inventory, ordering supplies to meet demand efficiently
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage the kitchen budget, including cost control and financial planning
Needed Qualifications:
- Proven experience in restaurant kitchens with a focus on live fire grill stations; fine dining experience
- Must have Steakhouse Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in culinary arts
- Food Handler's Certification
- ServSafe Manager Certification
- Expertise in culinary techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards
- Experience with inventory management
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
