Quick Facts Location: 50 Perry Street, Pontiac, MI 48342 Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: Coverage for approximately 3 months (exact end date TBD) Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Hours/Week: 24 hours Employment Type: Locum/Per Diem License/Certifications: MD/DO, State Medical License Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in Hematology/Oncology outpatient care Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: Rate to be discussed upon application Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team committed to your success What You'll Do Provide outpatient Hematology and Oncology care at a satellite clinic Manage patients daily in a busy clinic setting Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case discussions Collaborate with a team of oncology RNs, medical assistants, social workers, dietitians, and nurse navigators Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR system Support infusion center and onsite diagnostic services Cover clinic call as needed What You Need Active medical license in Michigan Minimum 2 years of outpatient Hematology/Oncology experience Proficiency in hematology/oncology outpatient procedures and patient management Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills and attention to detail About the Assignment This short-term locum role supports a vibrant outpatient Hematology and Oncology clinic dedicated to providing high-quality care to adult patients.
