  • Rounding: Assigned patients

  • Case Mix: 70% Oncology, 30% Hematology

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE
  • Licenses: Active IN license
  • DEA: Active DEA
  • Certification: BLS
  • No paid or pending malpractice claims; No actions reported on NPDB
  • Gaps of less than 6 months
  • Able to provide 3-4 professional references
  • Fellowship: Required
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient oncology and hematology care in clinic setting Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Manage hospital consults during call weeks, including new patient consultations and rounding on existing patients.
  • Participate in call rotation every 4th or 5th week, providing coverage weekdays and weekends for emergent consults.
  • Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners who round on existing patients, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Adhere to 60-day notification for agreement cancellation and 45-day advanced notice for PTO to maintain staffing continuity.
