Position: Neurologist (General Neurology - 100% Outpatient)

Position Summary

The organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Neurologist to join its expanding outpatient neurology practice in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

This is a 100% outpatient opportunity offering an excellent work-life balance, strong referral networks, and comprehensive clinical support. The physician will evaluate and manage a broad spectrum of neurological disorders while collaborating closely with primary care physicians, specialists, advanced practice providers, and rehabilitation teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations and consultations
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions, including headaches, migraines, epilepsy, neuropathy, movement disorders, dementia, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological diseases
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based clinical guidelines
• Interpret diagnostic studies and coordinate additional neurological testing as appropriate
• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and disease management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary care conferences
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving long-term neurological health

Qualifications

Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Residency Training: Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program

Licensure: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology; eligible for South Carolina medical licensure

Experience: Outpatient neurology experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply
