We are looking for a Drafter, the primary responsibilities are-
- Produce "for fabrication" drawings
- Produce and submit submittals
- Assist Project Management with Steel Quotes
- Create Bill of Materials using drawings
- Complete the required number of Safety Observations each month
- Follow all ISO Quality Control Procedures
- Review drawings and work of others in the department
- Scan, file, and save all documents pertaining to the job
- Keep accurate time for each job
- Work in a collaborative environment with Engineering, Sales, & Project Management
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the lead draftsmen
Additional Training to be provided:
- On the job training pertaining to drafting and design
- Quality management system training (as needed)
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proficient in the use of AutoCad
- SolidWorks training a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
Education and Experience
- Associates degree preferred but not required
