Overview In this role, you will lead key accounting closes and ensure accurate financial reporting for investors and clients. You'll coordinate reporting and tax requirements, work with cash management on transactions, and support SEC filings. You'll improve reporting processes and client service, taking initiative on problems and leading special projects. This position blends hands-on accounting with strategic analysis in a hybrid work setting within a Chicago firm.

Responsibilities- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Review and record investor admissions
- Coordinate quarterly/annual reporting and tax requirements
- Collaborate with cash management on investor subscriptions, distributions, invoice payments, and quarterly fees
- Review property management financial statements
- Perform quarterly financial analysis and investment accounting review
- Assist with closing books and SEC filings for JLLIPT
- Respond to client inquiries and support client services
- Improve efficiency of financial reporting processes and leverage technology
- Take initiative to identify problems and propose solutions
- Lead special projects as assigned
