Product Engineer - Flowline

Overview

As Flowline Engineer, you provide sustaining engineering support for TechnipFMC's Flowline products, driving reliability, quality, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with manufacturing, service, sales, and field teams to resolve issues and implement improvements. You'll lead root cause investigations, support testing and qualification, and maintain drawings, BOMs, and ECNs. This role blends hands-on problem solving with cross-functional teamwork to enhance performance in pressure pumping and well servicing.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for Flowline products (flow iron, valves, swivel joints, manifolds, fittings)
  • Resolve production issues and implement product improvements in manufacturing
  • Investigate field failures and customer issues; perform root cause analysis; drive corrective actions
  • Support sales with technical documentation, product recommendations, and customer inquiries
  • Develop and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and ECNs
  • Support product testing, validation, and qualification activities
  • Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and product management to improve performance
  • Participate in customer visits and field support as required
  • Promote safety, quality, continuous improvement, and technical excellence
Key requirements
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5-10 years of engineering experience in pressure pumping, flowline, frac equipment, or related oilfield products
  • Strong knowledge of flow iron products and pressure pumping applications
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, field operations, and customer technical support
  • Experience with engineering drawings, BOMs, change management, and product lifecycle support
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment and support field activities as needed
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities
