Overview

In this role you will support a Naples-based Real Estate practice, handling a wide range of commercial and residential transactions in-office. You will draft and negotiate real estate documents, oversee due diligence, and coordinate closings with clients, lenders, and title companies. You will advise on financing, land use, and risk mitigation while collaborating with other practice groups to deliver efficient, high-quality service. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to business development and help shape a growing real estate practice.

Responsibilities
  • Handle all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions from due diligence through closing
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, easements, and development agreements
  • Coordinate due diligence including title reviews, surveys, environmental assessments, and zoning compliance
  • Collaborate with clients, lenders, title companies, brokers, and professionals to facilitate timely closings
  • Advise on real estate financing, land use and zoning, HOA/condominium matters, and risk mitigation
  • Prepare title opinions and coordinate with title insurers
  • Manage a busy caseload while maintaining client relationships
  • Collaborate with Litigation, Corporate, and Trusts & Estates teams on interdisciplinary matters
  • Contribute to business development and marketing efforts for Real Estate practice
Key requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of substantial experience in commercial and residential real estate transactions (Florida experience strongly preferred)
  • Licensed to practice law in Florida (in good standing)
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills for complex real estate documents
  • Thorough knowledge of Florida real estate law, title insurance, and closing procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Prior experience in a mid-to-large law firm or relevant in-house role is preferred
  • Education: J.D. from an accredited law school
