Overview

In this Specialist role within the V&A team, you support valuation and analytics across diverse financial instruments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver fair value analyses, data review, and quantitative work for client engagements and internal initiatives. You will develop and maintain models, apply various valuation approaches, and contribute to technology-enabled solutions that improve efficiency and quality. This role offers exposure to multiple asset classes and valuation methods, with opportunities to influence audit-related valuation processes and insights.

Responsibilities
  • Independently price a variety of financial instruments
  • Review data, transaction documents, and information to support valuations
  • Support valuation analyses of portfolio companies, equity securities, debt investments, and complex capital structures
  • Conduct industry and market research to inform valuation conclusions
  • Analyze market movements to identify key valuation drivers
  • Build and maintain financial models, valuation schedules, and analytical tools
  • Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses on key assumptions
  • Prepare audit support documentation for valuations
  • Collaborate with audit teams across industries and company sizes
  • Coordinate assignments, manage deadlines, and report progress to senior team members
  • Contribute to technology-enabled valuation solutions to improve automation and standardization
  • Stay current on market developments and valuation trends
