Senior MEP Project Manager - Construction

Overview

In this role you drive the delivery of construction and capital projects for a global manufacturing client, focusing on MEP coordination and Owner's Representation. You work with cross-functional teams to ensure design, QA/QC and field execution align with project goals. You'll manage stakeholder communications, progress reporting and knowledge capture to support successful close-out and client satisfaction. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position that shapes delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Manage engineering drawings, specifications and documents
  • Communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders across project stages
  • Assist scheduler with progress updates
  • Coordinate field activities between General Contractor, Commissioning Agent and Client
  • Conduct field walks with GC and Sub-Contractors
  • Attend field and punch walks with architect and MEP team
  • Support project close-out documentation
  • Ensure QA/QC compliance and report gaps
  • Perform design document QA/QC and engineering QA/QC reviews before Construction submission
  • Prepare progress reports and KPI tracking
  • Manage project information flow between team and client via meetings and written updates
  • Ensure key learnings are captured in internal databases
  • Identify and address quality, safety, health and environmental issues
  • SOX control responsibilities where applicable
Key requirements
  • Field construction experience
  • Postgraduate Mechanical or MEP engineering experience (design and site)
  • Engineering background with strong mechanical knowledge/experience
  • Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field
  • Project Management (or PMP) or engineering-related qualification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage and delegate to technical and non-technical staff
