Overview

In this temporary role, you will help build the foundations of the company's legal function as it expands internationally. You will collaborate with internal teams to create a scalable legal operations infrastructure, starting with an organized core folder system and practical workflows for managing documents and processes. You'll shape repeatable, scalable structures that support a growing organization and enable efficient legal operations. This position offers an opportunity to impact how the legal function scales with business growth while working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and organize the core legal folder and document management structure
  • Review and categorize existing legal documents, agreements, corporate records, and related materials into a consistent filing system
  • Create file naming conventions, folder hierarchies, and document categorization standards
  • Document and standardize legal operations workflows for intake, organization, tracking, and maintenance of matters and documents
  • Develop trackers, templates, checklists, and tools to increase visibility into legal work and standardize processes
  • Assist with organizing contracts and maintaining key agreement information, including deadlines and renewal dates
  • Identify inefficiencies in administrative processes and help implement practical, scalable solutions
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather materials and ensure proper maintenance
  • Document new processes to support ongoing use by legal and business teams
  • Provide additional paralegal and legal operations support as priorities evolve
Key requirements
  • Paralegal or legal operations experience
  • Ability to independently organize information and establish structure in a growing legal function
