You will lead cross-functional engineering efforts within the Engineering and Design division, shaping designs that operate efficiently over a building's lifetime. This role blends innovative problem solving with practical, cost-conscious implementation in a DBOM environment. Responsibilities- Contribute to delivery of data center projects and client engagements
- Collaborate with internal and external partners on design solutions
- Lead engineering teams to meet schedule, scope, and budget
- Track project performance on a monthly basis
- Participate in all project phases from planning to execution
- Prepare proposals aligned with client needs and budgets
- Build long-term relationships with customers to support project success
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years of mechanical engineering design experience, preferably in complex commercial or energy infrastructure projects
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license; NCEES multi-state license preferred
- Experience leading multi-discipline engineering efforts on complex projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, central plants, energy conservation measures, and mechanical design
- Experience with Revit (5+ years preferred); familiarity with CAD/BIM platforms a plus
- Experience with energy modeling software (IES VE, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace, Elite CHVAC or similar) preferred
- Familiarity with MATLAB, VBA, Python, InDesign or similar engineering tools a plus
- Onsite construction experience valued
- LEED/WELL or other sustainability accreditation preferred
