Overview In this role, you will oversee commercial HVAC and plumbing projects from planning to closeout, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. You will work closely with field teams, customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to drive project performance and client satisfaction. The position focuses on operational and financial outcomes, including procurement, change management, and reporting, across multiple projects. Compensation / Benefits Responsibilities- Manage multiple commercial HVAC and plumbing projects
- Track submittals, RFIs, schedules of values, project schedules, progress billings, and change orders
- Develop scopes of work and manage POs for subs, suppliers, and vendors
- Coordinate scheduling, engineering support, material procurement, and field operations
- Ensure projects meet design, budget, schedule, quality, and client expectations
- Collaborate with Superintendents and field leadership on staffing and execution
- Monitor costs, forecasts, profitability, and overall financial performance
- Prepare monthly/quarterly project projections and reporting
- Manage monthly billing processes and customer approvals
- Identify and mitigate project risks impacting schedule, budget, quality, or commitments
- Build relationships with customers, GCs, subs, suppliers, and field personnel
- Support business development by expanding existing and new client relationships
- Maintain accurate project documentation through the lifecycle
Key requirements- 3+ years of PM experience in commercial mechanical construction (HVAC and/or plumbing)
- Experience managing mechanical construction projects from $200K to $20M+
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related systems
- Understanding of HVAC/ASHRAE standards, Plumbing/ASPE standards, and building codes
- Hands-on field experience in plumbing, pipefitting, sheet metal (apprentice/journeyman/foreman) is highly preferred
- Strong planning, scheduling, budgeting, financial management, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business apps
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders
