Overview In this role you will lead high-end restaurant construction projects from inception to closeout, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery and adherence to safety and quality standards. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to drive successful outcomes and coordinate permitting, procurement, and site activities. This position combines hands-on project leadership with rigorous controls in a hospitality-focused environment. You will manage 3-5 projects, across offices in Miami or Deerfield Beach, delivering tangible value to operators and stakeholders.

Responsibilities- Plan, schedule, and manage all phases of restaurant and construction projects (pre-construction, permitting, procurement, construction, closeout)
- Develop and monitor budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reporting; optimize costs without compromising quality
- Create detailed project schedules, track progress, and mitigate delays or risks
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams; lead site meetings and inspections
- Serve as primary client contact; provide updates and manage expectations throughout the lifecycle
- Oversee permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance for restaurant/commercial construction (health and safety)
- Review and control project documentation (contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, as-builts)
- Implement safety and QA procedures on-site; coordinate with safety officers and OSHA/local compliance
- Resolve construction-related issues promptly and escalate when needed
- Conduct final walk-throughs, manage punch lists, and ensure timely handover with warranties and training
Key requirements- Bachelor in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction with restaurant/hospitality experience preferred
- Proven budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor, and permitting experience
- Familiarity with Procore or Buildertrend and scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera); MS Office proficiency
- Strong knowledge of building codes, health department requirements, and construction safety (OSHA)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
- PMP, CCM, or equivalent certification a plus; OSHA 10/30 preferred
- Ability to read drawings and perform basic field measurements
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites
