Overview As AP & Accounting Coordinator, you will support accounts payable while gaining broader exposure to accounting tasks. You will act as a key member of the Accounting team, helping with reconciliations, expenses, reporting, and month-end activities. You will process vendor invoices, code them correctly, and manage payments and vendor records. This role offers a platform to contribute to process improvements and audits, with a path toward becoming a trusted right hand to the accounting function.
Responsibilities- Process and code vendor invoices
- Review invoices for proper approvals and documentation
- Maintain vendor records and payment information
- Process ACH, checks, and other vendor payments
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Research invoice and payment discrepancies
- Process employee expense reports and corporate card transactions
- Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Help maintain recurring accounting schedules
- Assist with month-end close
- Prepare AP aging and other accounting reports
- Assist with customer billing and AR when needed
- Maintain organized financial records
- Help gather documentation for audits and tax filings
- Assist the Accounting Manager with special projects and process improvements
